Gender Journey, 2023
This project created artwork to help facilitate decision-making in gender-affirming care.
The commissioner was interested to create a map of a river, from which certain tension points around transition (e.g. legal, psychological, medical, social etc) could be discussed between a client and healthcare provider.
Using this water analogy, I created a series of figures to help give the client agency to discuss the speed at which they would want to go through their transition.
The final piece was then collated into a book.
