Brief
Work with PhD researchers and students to design artworks that explore the future impacts of Engineering Biology.
I worked with PhD students and sixth-form pupils at Cathedral School to imagine speculative “materials from the future” that could address challenges in health and the environment—ranging from pollution-eating bacteria to lab-grown blood.
These creative outputs informed a series of printed artworks, later displayed at the FUTURES Festival, sparking conversations between researchers and the public about the role of bioengineering in shaping future societies.
Outputs
Game design, 2x workshops with PhD researchers and sixth-form students.
