Bristol’s Smallest Street Art Festival: Mural Alleyway
I created this DIY community street art festival, the first to happen in Brislington.
Along with 20 artists from Bristol Mural Collective, we transformed a drab alleyway into a street art gallery.
This was a grassroots event and made a huge impact to the local community.
Here’s what some of the residents said:
“My commute is forever joyful thanks to you”
“I never return home grumpy because the art puts a big smile on my face”
I also invited the Ceremonial Mayor, and gave him my ‘dear bristol city council’ zine. Following this event I was invited by Bristol City cCouncil to join their policy-making conversations about street art and culture.
