Brief

 
Create artwork for a tool to help facilitate decision-making in gender-affirming care.

Concept

I worked on the idea to create a own bespoke map for transition. This non-linear river has many potential islands that can be filled in by the client and health-care practitioner.

The idea is to bring to light the priorities, tension points and hesitations around transition (e.g. legal, psychological, medical, social etc), as well as outline the pace of how fast or slow they would like the process to take.



The final piece was then collated into a book with additional illustrations around gender and discussion.
